This Policy is part of GaijinMall’s Terms of Service. All users must comply. GaijinMall may remove listings, suspend or terminate accounts, and take enforcement actions at its sole discretion.
1. Illegal or Restricted Items
Listings for the following are strictly prohibited:
- Illegal goods or services under Japanese law
- Counterfeit, stolen, or unauthorized goods
- Drugs and controlled substances — including prescription drugs and paraphernalia
- Tobacco and e-cigarettes
- Weapons, firearms, explosives, ammunition
- Hazardous materials (chemicals, radioactive substances)
Alcohol — Special Notes
- Continuous listings: Not allowed without a liquor license; only single personal-sale items allowed
- Allowed: Alcohol purchased for personal consumption or inherited and no longer needed
- Prohibited: High-proof alcohol, food additives, additive preparations
- Packing & Shipping: Labeling, expiration, storage, and refrigerated shipping (if required) must be clear
2. Offensive, Inappropriate, or Harmful Content
We prohibit listings that include:
- Obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit material or adult/escort services
- Violent, hateful, discriminatory, or defamatory content
- Items promoting terrorism, extremism, or illegal organizations
3. Regulated Goods & Services
Unless permitted by law and GaijinMall in writing, prohibited items include:
- Financial products or services (securities, investments, loans)
- Gambling services, lotteries, betting systems
- Medical devices or health supplements requiring regulator approval
- Animals or parts from endangered species
- Food items not complying with Japanese food safety regulations
4. Digital & Intellectual Property Violations
- Pirated software, cracked accounts, or tools for digital piracy
- Unauthorized streaming/download services
- Copyrighted materials sold without authorization
- Trademarks, logos, or branded goods sold without license
5. Personal & Sensitive Items
- Personal data, identification documents, or financial information
- Government-issued items such as passports, licenses, permits
- Academic cheating services (exam papers, paid answers)
6. Services Not Allowed
- Illegal employment or visa-related services
- Fake reviews, social media manipulation, or spam services
- Hacking, cracking, or cybercrime-related services
- Surveillance equipment intended for unlawful use
7. Enforcement
GaijinMall reserves the right to:
- Remove prohibited listings without notice
- Suspend or permanently terminate accounts
- Report violations to law enforcement
- Withhold funds from transactions involving prohibited items
8. User Responsibility
Users are fully responsible for ensuring compliance with this Policy and applicable Japanese laws. Non-compliance may result in civil, criminal, or regulatory penalties in addition to GaijinMall enforcement.
